| Council Consideration for the Approval of a Parade Permit for Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., that will Begin at the Cam-Plex, Travel North on Garner Lake Road, West on Warlow Drive, South and East on W 2nd Street, South on 4-J Road, East on Lakeway Road, North on Butler Spaeth Road, East on Boxelder Road, and Return to the Cam-Plex, for a Christian Motorcyclist Association’s National Rally, Requested by Robert Welch. |
| BACKGROUND: |
Robert Welch is requesting a parade permit for June 22nd beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The parade will begin at the Cam-Plex and make a large loop around the City and return to the Cam-Plex. This year's route differs slightly from the 2015 parade route, in that instead of travelling from Garner Lake Road to Hwy 14-16, they extended the route to travel from Garner Lake Road to Warlow Drive, looping back around to the Cam-Plex.
Dad's Towing will stop traffic at the intersections. A motorcyclist will hold the intersection as the parade travels through, and the tow truck will move to the next intersection, repeating the process through the parade route, which will allow the procession to continue without separating the group. |
