| Council Consideration and Payment for Temporary Construction Easements and a Permanent Access and Utility Easement for the Gillette Regional Water Supply Project with Four (4) Separate Property Owners for a Total Amount of $14,721.57. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This second phase of the Gillette Regional Water Supply Project will provide a connection for the 8-Mile Improvement and Service District by extending a new transmission line along Force Road to their tank site within the 8-Mile Subdivision. These easements are necessary to facilitate the construction of the new pipeline and for its permanent siting and operation where not located in the public right-of-way. These easements were recommended by the City's design consultant, HDR, and were negotiated with the landowners by City staff. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
These easements are budgeted for and eligible for reimbursement from the Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC) through the 67% grant and the remaining 33% will be paid with Cap Tax.
