| Council Consideration for the Approval of Three (3) Street Closures on Gillette Avenue, Between 5th Street and 6th Street, on July 9th, July 16th, and July 23rd, from 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., for Outdoor Family Fun Events, Requested by First Baptist Church. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| First Baptist Church is requesting to close Gillette Avenue for 3 consecutive Tuesday evenings to host some family outdoor activities. On July 9th, they will have outdoor games, July 16th they will have a "country hoedown" with recorded music, bales of hay, and root beer floats, and on July 23rd they plan to show an outdoor movie in their church yard. The events are open to church members and the community. The Law Office of Daly & Sorenson approved the street closure notification form. The only business in the area would be the County Courthouse, which would be closed during the event. |
