| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for the Animal Control Renovation to Norton Construction, in the Amount of $834,000.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Animal Control Renovation Project will include replacement of the leaking roof system as well as remediation of damage to the walls caused by water infiltration through the roof. Some improvements to the existing building, including replacement of sheetrock walls with concrete block walls and a new customer service counter in the reception area were bid as alternate options to determine if the budget would allow such upgrades. All items covered in the WARM settlement were bid as the base bid, which was bid at $369,000.00. The additional $465,000.00 are the upgrades that are the City's responsibility. |
