| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the 2019 New Sidewalks Project, Installed by Black Cat Construction, in the Amount of $58,317.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The 2019 New Sidewalks Project consisted of installation of new sidewalks in the Saunders Subdivision that had never been installed. This project included the construction of new sidewalks in the following areas: Wagonhammer Lane from Flying Circle Drive to 12th Street, 12th Street from Wagonhammer Lane to T-7 Lane and Flying Circle Drive from T-7 Lane to Wagonhammer Lane. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The funding for this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331 in the amount of $160,000.00. The original contract price was $58,317.00. There were a total of 8 days added to the contract because of additional work and weather delays. The project was completed on time and on budget.
It is recommended to accept the New Sidewalks Project in the amount of $58,317.
